“ Ordered lunch here after a recommendation from my plumber. Delivery was fast, tacos were in great shape and very tasty. I do wish that the birria came with grilled onions like at most places, but still pretty good. ”
“ We stopped in early last week to see what all the fuss was about. It's a great concept with some fantastic food while maintaining low overhead and excellent customer service! Go for the tacos - they are amazing! Stay for the hospitality, but not too long cuz the space is small and not overwhelmingly inviting. I can't wait until it's warm enough to sit on the patio and enjoy some more great food!! ”
“ I keep coming back for more! West Coast Taco bar has become one of our favorite spots whenever we're craving tacos. There is plenty of parking available in the lot, and I've been able to grab a spot right up front most times I've visited. They do get busy during peak meal times, but their team does a great job at working through orders. There are a few tables inside as well as a couple outdoor tables. I typically take my orders to go and they always pack them with care. My husband's favorite is the Sactown Fire, which is a garlic shrimp taco on a mole tortilla with cilantro slaw, chipotle sauce and cotija cheese. They're so flavorful! I'm more of a burrito person and I like to change it up, the Bitchin' Cali Burrito is amazing and HUGE- my preference is rice instead of fries though. I also order the classic Taqueria burrito when I'm wanting something a bit simpler. They also have a great horchata here that we like to share. It's coconut horchata so the flavor is unique from others that I've tried. The service is always great and the food is consistently delicious! ”
“ West coast tacos are obviously delicious! But what took it to the next level was their outstanding customer service from the moment we inquired about catering a special event. They customized a perfect menu with us and brought the food truck to the venue. The service was fast for over 150 guests and everything was piping hot and delicious! Thank you Cynthia & Crew. ”
“ I don't mind the wait. It's always worth it. Next time I'm asking for extra Tajín on my elote. The agua fresca was great!!! Not overly syrupy or watery. Horchata and watermelon. The tacos are overflowing with meat in the best way possible. A new discovery... Chiles Toreados!!! Those were amazing!!! And the JAMZ are always hittin' in here - great music. ”
“ #57 on Yelp's Top 100 US Restaurants 2025 The place was smaller than expected, with about 4 tables and bar seating. I noticed the prices have gone up from what was posted on Yelp a month ago. I went with 3 tacos- Bella Truffle, Dirty Diana, and Sac Town Fire. While we were waiting, chips and salsa were bought out to us. The Sac Town Fire with the shrimp was my favorite. Make sure you grab a lot of napkins, because it does get a bit messy. The Watermelon Bro beverage was refreshing. While the food was pretty good, I'm not sure about top 100. ”
“ Came here after seeing them pop up on Yelp being on the top 100 list, and I can see why. Once I began to peruse the menus on the TV screens, the owner Ivan politely asked if I had any questions; I had a few, and he was very thorough in describing the items I inquired about. Not very busy at opening, but once noon hit a small line began to form. No issues though...his wife Cynthia smiled even while working the flat top by herself, moving swiftly and multi-tasking with ease. Nothing was hidden behind walls, as all the cooking was done in the eyes of customers. I ordered the popular Bitchin' California burrito; boy was it bitchin'. The flavors and filling were on point; shrimp and asada were plentiful and was a perfect combo. I do wish I subbed the fries with rice, but not an issue (only elevated carb count)! I love burritos where your first bite is the same as the last bite: meat and veggies, not just folds of flour tortilla. We ordered a variety of the top tacos (beef birria and chicken adovada), and again the flavors were on point. I will echo the majority of yelpers, and non-yelpers...I will be back!! ”
“ Excited to meet up with a friend whom I haven't seen in almost a year, I looked at my Yelp "bookmarks" to find a local restaurant. At the top of my results was West Coast Taco Bar, which I have heard great things about. I immediately sent her a text with one word..."taco?"...and to the delight of my appetite, she replied back by saying "YES!" We arrived a little after 1; therefore, the lunchtime crowd was putting their finishing touches on their meals and leaving (perfect timing). At the counter a friendly employee greeted us and after perusing the menu filled with many tasty sounding options, I proceeded to order the Korean Tacos. Roughly 12 minutes later, our food was being delivered to our table outside. By the presentation and smell of the tacos alone, I knew that I was in for a treat. Since these tacos are economy size and I only ordered four, I made sure to pace myself while eating them. However, I must admit that the delicious flavors of the pork and aioli made it really difficult to exercise self-control! I was thoroughly impressed with my tacos and the overall experience at West Coast Taco Bar. I look forward to returning to try the Dirty Diana (I assume this is paying homage to the song by my favorite pop artist Michael Jackson?)! ”
“ It's a small hole in the wall restaurant. I would say, limited seating. I suggest ordering for take out instead of waiting for seating. They are attentive to their customers. My husband liked the unique fusion-style and freshness of the tacos. For me there was limited options but I still loved it, Totally recommend people to try out the tacos. ”
“ I was craving some Mexican food and wanted to try a different place rather than my usual. I honestly forgot about this place until it popped up on Yelp. This place is right next to Smart and Final. It's a bit small inside, but I think of this place of more of a to go spot. The gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly. I went ahead and ordered their Bitchin' Cali Burrito without Shrimp. Man, I've had California Burritos at lots of places and I was thinking this would be similar. It was different for some reason. It must be how they cook their asada or their sauce or something. All in all, it had awesome flavor and I would definitely order that again. Next time I'm around, I'm going to try their tacos. But it'll be hard to pass on their Bitchin' Cali Burrito though. When craving some Mexican food, try West Coast Taco Bar! ”
